The basic objective of this program is to help the organizations resolving productivity problems arising from factors causing occupational stress. Our Productivity Focused Employees Assistance Program (PFEAP) will be able to:

  • Identify all the employees with problems, which could affect the productivity
  • Refer the employees to appropriate resources, which have the knowledge and expertise to resolve those problems
  • Assist the employee to return to work and be able to perform the essential job functions safely as usual.

The most providers of traditional Employees Assistance Programs have limited knowledge and expertise in dealing with work-related issues. The traditional Employees Assistance Programs are focused on personal and substance abuse problems of the workers. They are not helping the employees to return to work with full potential after occupational stress. They are currently a liability on the employer as they have failed to fix the productivity losses. As the interaction between organizational, personal, and working environment factors is best understood by Occupational and Environmental Medicine Specialists at IOMC, they are the ultimate experts to run these programs.
